Disregarding 'straight forward' help mates you would first need to write a program tailored to the given problem. I assure you that's a lot more work than actually solving the problem directly.
Ridicuously trivial ? not for me xD

Haha, it takes some specific practice at this sort of problem before you become comfortable with them.
Let's put it this way: if someone actually wrote a piece of software to succesfully solve the last problem of 2024.... in my opinion he would fully deserve the point.

I wonder how I can use AI to solve these. Because the top solver's are strong players with an unfair advantage over us 1300s
Yeah they solve the puzzles in under 60 seconds.
Language is not intelligence, there's no way current AI can solve these problems. They are also crafted in a beautiful way, that makes them difficult (probably impossible) to solve with stockfish!
You can also join the community, to help you learn new things and solve the problems. Some content creator could also post the solution on the day after, to maximise the learning experience.

@ironbishp
ChatGPT kept giving me moves that would put my king in check
EDIT: I could build a program that could solve these.

For almost everything, pieces of software exist already!! Basically anyone can cheat, except the pieces of software aren't that known to the general public!
And I'm not spoiling anything haha (just to clarify, I'm not cheating this season either)

Needless to say, problem 4 should be pretty easy to figure out with stockfish haha (again, to clarify, I'm figuring it out myself.)

day 4: "naaaah! that move aint legal!"
The move was, indeed, legal. And the correct solution. I spent another half an hour before realizing. The learning experience is the reward. After you figure it out, yeah at that point using Stockfish to check is trivial.
