Best skills

I have a wide-ranging opening repertoire and resources for students to expand their understanding of how best to play the opening.
I am good at explaining the fundamental ideas behind chess games to break it down for players to understand what is going on and improve how they play through a better understanding of the position.

Teaching methodology

I tailor my training to each person individually. Normally the student will send me annotated games and from there I can break down their strengths and weaknesses and get them to improve what is going wrong in their chess.
You can also ask me to help them work on specific areas of the game or prepare specific things.
A lot of my lessons are dedicated to asking students questions about positions and solving problems, to examine their methodology and to see how to better approach decision making and understand ideas which they are currently overlooking.
Study sessions are carried out over Skype or Zoom however the chess is either done on the lichess study feature or using the share screen feature depending on the needs of the lesson
Homework is provided if you want it to be.
