About me

My name is Sasa Jevtic and I am from Serbia.
I am FIDE Master (2 IM norms), FIDE Trainer, International Arbiter and International Organizer.
Starting with January 2016. I became full time chess professional.
I have graduated in Civil Engineering faculty in Nis in 2000. and got my M.Sc. degree at Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany in 2002.
From 2002 to 2016. I worked on many positions in Municipality of my hometown Paracin.
I am married and father of Milos (2002) and Milica (2006)
I speak fluent English and have a basic knowledge of German language.

Playing experience

Chess has been my passion from the early ages. Due to many educational obligations, I never had enough time to seriously work on my improvement as a player. Anyway I got the FM title in 2009. and I have 2 IM norms.

Teaching experience

I have more than 15 years of teaching experience. I started to work as professional chess coach back in 2004.
Up to now I have more than 150 students from all over the world. Mostly I am teaching on ICC (Internet Chess Club).
Currently I am an active chess coach of CCL (Columbus Chess Lessons) in USA.
Although I am specialist for endgames, I can teach students all aspects of the game. I made many successes in all categories with students of chess school in Youth Chess Club "Paracin" in Serbia. Back in 2004. I began working as an online chess coach and I had many satisfied students worldwide.
I worked as a chess coach at different chess camps and workshops for kids and adults in USA, mostly in Missouri, (St. Louis and Kansas City).
I was honored to be the first professional chess coach who hosted public chess events at, nowadays, the most famous chess club in the world: St. Louis Chess Club and Scholastic Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
I also have experience of assisting and preparing young players during big international tournaments (World Youth and Cadet Championship 2015, Porto Carras, Greece).
