The Challengers Chess Tour Finals, is a 8-player knockout tournament held between October 14th and October 17th. The players will compete for a total prize fund of $40,000 and a spot on the next champions chess tour. The knockout match-ups consist of 4-game matches.

The time control is rapid, with 10 minutes and a 5 second increment per move.

Tie breaks: If the match score is tied at 2-2, two 5+3 games are then played. If still undecided an Armageddon game will be played, where White has 5 minutes to Black's 4, but a draw will count as a win for Black.
