The CCC & NACCL Fischer Random World Championship Qualifier Knockout is a 16 players knockout tournament. The time control is 15+2. Round of 16 and Quarterfinals will take place on 18th, while Semifinals and Finals on 25th. The winner will qualify for the Fischer Random World Championship 2022 in Reykjavik.

Until the semifinals, players will play two games, once with the white pieces and once with the black pieces. If, after both games, players are equal in points they will play two further games in the 5+2 time control, once with the white pieces and once with the black pieces. If they still remain equal in score, they will play an Armageddon decider.

In the finals, players will play four games, twice with the white pieces and twice with the black pieces. There will be two different Fischer Random positions.
