The 74th Open and Women National Championships 2022 - Dr Wong Yip Chong Cup is Singapore's National Chess Championship. Singapore's top chess players will engage in a 9 round Swiss tournament to determine who will emerge as Singapore's National Champion and National Woman Champion.

The tournament will take place from 27 January to 12 February 2022. Time control is 90 minutes with 30 seconds increment from move 1, and 1 round will be played per day at 11am UTC each day. There will be 30 minute delay on the broadcast.
