* The established and active League for players at lichess who would like to practice and feel the atmosphere of the Classical 90m+30s time control game.
* Founded since April 2022 with 535 members when this is posted (Oct 12, 2024)
* Implementing classical time control format by online. Relocated, due to retirement, far away from any major chess centers, commuting to Classical OTB events is no longer a practical option for some players. This 90m+30s league makes it possible without having to navigate travel, traffic, or hotels.
* At a moment when the emphasis is overwhelmingly on blitz and bullet games, the 90m+30s league fills a need and reminds us of the way chess was meant to be practiced.
* @fhunfi the Founder and TD (tournament director) assures the participants that the tourney had been and will always be conducted with passion, commitment, care, and love to our royal game
and would try his best to minimize the number of forfeited games by communicating gently with players who had difficulty in scheduling etc.
* We use a very humanly format for players amid their busy life activity.
Date/time to play the game in Swiss system: considering the players are from various countries/ continents with different time zone, we never use a fixed time, but instead the players will have 14 days (2 weeks) for any single round, to negotiate with their opponent, to find the best time to play the game within that 14 days timeframe.

* Since April 2022 we had run and finished 8 cycles of Swiss 90m+30s
with 5 or 6 round with total tournament length 2.5 - 3 months for each cycle
