Discovered Lichess early in the Covid-19 pandemic and over the next year was thrilled to learn how easy it is to improve at chess! Since then I've developed a more complicated relationship with the game. I remain (mostly) enamored with chess, at times obsessed, fascinated by its complexity and beauty, but often quite frustrated at how difficult it can be to improve.
