Introducing : Impulsive chess, part 2

ChessAnalysisLichess
New adventures with a Move first, Think later attitude

After this game finished I checked in with Lichess Stockfish and saw a 0/0/0, 10 acpl and I almost dropped from my chair as a matter of speaking. During the game I didn't think much of my knight sacrifice and my pawn grabbing. I just made my moves hoping for a fun and perhaps good quality game. Both players didn't use much time in this 3 minute game. After the game (of 20 moves) both players had more than 2 minutes left. Did I do any calculation in this game ? Maybe a little bit, but basically all moves were impulsive and fairly quick decisions. I consider myself very lucky that my moves were without flaws. Am I advocating impulsive chess to anyone ? No, first you need to develop your chess skills to some reasonable level, and then you can experiment to go without much calculation in your on-line speed chess games. Too good to be true ? Yes, it is, this week I had other games I wanted to share via a blog but these had too many mistakes and blunders. Whether it was with long calculations or without. I'm trying to be my own chess coach and lately it is painful to see how many moves I miss because my thinking is restricted. Anyway, I hope my post can inspire you, dear chess reader, to try and experiment. After all, it's just on-line chess. There's likely no huge money prices or trophies to be lost when playing impulsive chess on Lichess. So, why not ?
