Learn The TOP SECRET Gambit To Destroy The Sicilian!

The Sicilian is one of, if not THE, most theoretical openings in chess and sometimes I get tired of all the studying in the main lines. However, I can garantee you this opening variation is not known by many, but still sound and has a great score for white even in high level classical OTB games.

The Tricky Portsmouth Gambit

I had never even heard about this opening until a young FIDE-Master from my discord server mentioned it. It's a type of Wing gambit and as I looked at it, I found it very interesting and decided to make a lichess study on it. The variation starts off like this:

Black's got quite a few options but taking on b4 with either the pawn or knight are the only two critical moves.
