Ukraine is a legendary country, which is a real fighter and I am proud to live here and to be Ukrainian. We are fighters everywhere, and chess board is not an exception.

In this article I will tell you about some of our greatest players and their best moves!
Number 1 - Vasyl Ivanchuk
Vasyl Mykhaylovych Ivanchuk (Ukrainian: Василь Михайлович Іванчук; born March 18, 1969), also transliterated as Vassily Ivanchuk, is a Ukrainian chess player. He was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE in 1988. A leading player since 1988,[1] Ivanchuk has been ranked at No. 2 on the FIDE world rankings three times (July 1991, July 1992, October 2007).[2]
Ivanchuk has won Linares, Wijk aan Zee, Tal Memorial, Gibraltar Masters and M-Tel Masters titles. He has also won the World Blitz Championship in 2007 and the World Rapid Championship in 2016.
In 2011, by the decree of the President of Ukraine, Ivanchuk was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise.
It's a legendary player who is not feeling great and he is really sad that invasion happened.

Number 2 - Anton Korobov
Anton Korobov (Ukrainian: Антон Коробов; born 25 June 1985) is a Ukrainian chess player. He was awarded the title Grandmaster by FIDE in 2003. Korobov is a four-time Ukrainian champion. He was voted the best male chess player of Ukraine of 2012.[2]

Number 3
Andrei Volokitin (Ukrainian: Андрій Волокітін, Andriy Volokitin; born 18 June 1986 in Lviv) is a Ukrainian chess grandmaster. He is a two-time Ukrainian champion and has competed in four Chess Olympiads, winning team gold in 2004 along with team bronze in 2012.
