How I use Chessvision.ai with Lichess, Chessable, Forward Chess and ChessBase

Chessvision.ai can be used for so much more than scanning and analyzing positions

Most people use Chessvision.ai to scan and analyze positions in Chrome or with the mobile app. But Chessvision.ai has so much more to offer, and I want to share my experiences in this blog.

I like new technology, including Lichess' new beta app for iOS, and finding ways to use these tools to improve my chess life. Chessvision.ai has excellent integration with Lichess, Chessable and chess.com and I am leveraging this integration in the following ways:

  • Searching for relevant variations in private and public Chessable courses when discussing a game with my student (a Lichess study)
  • Adding videos to my private and public Chessable courses as an additional angle to learning Chessable courses
  • When reading a book in Forward Chess:
    - finding relevant model games of the study position
    - using the Lichess games database to find what club players play in the study position
    - practising the study position in Lichess against a BOT
  • Creating flashcards using the mobile app and the online video app
  • Efficiently converting PDFs with diagrams into Chessbase games (position) databases

In the video below, I show the different use cases using the three chessvision.ai online tools:

  • Chrome extension
  • Video app
  • E-book reader

With this blog, I wanted to share how I use new technology in chess, and I hope you find it useful! I am not affiliated with chessvision.ai, but if you feel this is a promotion, please let me know in the Forum and I will refrain from posting blogs like this in the future.
