In Round 5 of the Sharjah Masters, GMs Anish Giri and Aleksandr Inđić agreed to an early draw after just 22 moves. GM Dai Changren beat GM Amin Tabatabaei to join them in the lead on 4/5 points. They are now followed by a group of 13 players on 3.5 points, including top seed GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov.
