Swiss Tournament - TRF file layout changed

Hi.

Yesterday there was a problem with double pairing. That seems to b efixed.

Today, while testing to see if the double pairing was fixed, it seems that the TRF layout was changed?

That LiChess username appear to be in the wrong space.

Please check. I think this is a spacing problem after the LiChess rating was included.

I have now converted the above tournament's pgn to TRF and seem it still had double pairings as well:

The Data-Integrity check has detected the following problem(s):

When I open up the latest TRF I see the sorting sequence is wrong. Not from 1 ---> 28. This cause that they show incorrectly in Swiss Manager.

I reailised you can fix the file by copy and pasting manually to resort the order in correct sort sequence. This will work and not show Usernames inccorrectly:
(It does take some time and you need to work very accurately not to break the file layout)

In the FULL file the numbers will run from 1 to 28 (The example only shows: 1,2,4,5,13,27)

Any news on if the TRF player sorting will be fixed?

Hello, thanks for reporting!

Reading the TRF documentation www.fide.com/FIDE/handbook/C04Annex2_TRF16.pdf, I'm not sure if `Startingrank-Number` need to be sorted in order to be compliant with the format.

Thank you to LiChess Developers for fixing the sort sequence in the TRF. You guys are amazing!
(I also do not think the FIDE requirement have that, but the Swiss Manager need it to be sorted)
